Senior HR Executive

Training & Employee Engagement

Calcey Technologies is a Gartner recognized software product engineering boutique, building market-leading digital products for enterprise and startup clients across the globe. Calcey’s Colombo office requires the service of a Senior HR Executive – Training & Employee Engagement.

Overview of Role

This role is responsible for the development and administration of the employee engagement, training & development programs at Calcey while also assisting with the HR department’s daily activities.

Responsibilities

Building partnerships with all levels of employees from individuals to teams
Analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising / implementing HR practices, programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes
Identify training and development needs within the organization
Developing, implementing, and monitoring training and development programs
Developing and ensuring healthy work relationships and offering counseling services to employees
Developing and executing employee reward and recognition programs
Assisting the development and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion programs
General assistance with HR operational activities

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in the IT industry
A degree or part professional qualifications HR/Psychology with additional certification in counseling from a recognized university or Institute
Knowledge of applicable workplace laws, regulations, and employment trend
Well conversant in MS Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), HRIS and sound knowledge in IT
Ability to compile, research, and analyze information
The confidence to bring ideas and suggestions for improvement
