Senior HR Executive

Training & Employee Engagement

Calcey Technologies is a Gartner recognized software product engineering boutique, building market-leading digital products for enterprise and startup clients across the globe. Calcey’s Colombo office requires the service of a Senior HR Executive – Training &  Employee Engagement.

Overview of Role

This role is responsible for the development and administration of the employee engagement, training & development programs at Calcey while also assisting with the HR department’s daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Building partnerships with all levels of employees from individuals to teams
  • Analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising / implementing HR practices, programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring training and development programs
  • Developing and ensuring healthy work relationships and offering counseling services to employees
  • Developing and executing employee reward and recognition programs
  • Assisting the development and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion programs
  • General assistance with HR operational activities

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in the IT industry
  • A degree or part professional qualifications HR/Psychology with additional certification in counseling from a recognized university or Institute
  • Knowledge of applicable workplace laws, regulations, and employment trend
  • Well conversant in MS Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), HRIS and sound knowledge in IT
  • Ability to compile, research, and analyze information
  • The confidence to bring ideas and suggestions for improvement
