Mangala Karunaratne is the founder of
Calcey Technologies, a professional
services firm delivering offshore
outsourced Software
Development, Software Quality Assurance, Scientific
Research, and
Information & Data Processing for
enterprises around the world. Prior to
Calcey Mangala founded eConceptions, Inc. In 1999,
worked at GolfWeb.com, and Nortel Networks. Mangala serves on the board of directors of
Karunaratne & Sons Ltd, one of the top
five printing companies in Sri Lanka. Mangala also serves as a
Trustees of Karuna Trust, a charitable
organization dedicated to helping poor people in Sri
Lanka |
Mangala, a Sri Lankan
American, has over Twelve
years of total experience in Internet
Software Architecture, Solutions &
life-cycle experience, and Offshore Business
Development. He has proven experience in
Offshore Business Development, he co-founded
Calcey Technologies in 2003, and Calcey has
grown over 100% year over year due to
successful on-time, on budget deliveries.
Prior to Calcey, he held various Internet
engineering and management roles at fortune
1000 high-tech companies and startups like
CBS Sportsline (GolfWeb.com). Some of his
achievements were Global multi-million
dollar mission critical project deliveries
including data warehousing for business
intelligence objectives of Nortel Networks,
e-commerce applications, e-marketing
systems, and integration of enterprise
legacy systems with the Internet and
enterprise product management.
He graduated from the California University
of Fresno with a BS in Computer Science
in 1996. He is also an elected member of
Upsilon Pi Epsilon honor society.
